New planners for 2020 - which one is for you?

Posted by Melinda on 28th Aug 2019

On Tuesday, September 3rd at 10:00 am MDT we will start accepting pre-orders for the 2020 planners. Before the launch we thought you'd like to look over your options and decide which planner will work best for you.

Hopefully this blog post will help you decide.

We now offer a total of 8 different planner options!

Here is how they break down.

The 'Mothers Who Know' planner is available in the following formats:

  • Vertical Weekly Layout, Sunday Start (the traditional option)

This last option is a re-design of the "Know It' planner. The weekly pages now have a fresh new design. It contains all of the same content as the Mothers Who Know Planner, but with different weekly planning spreads for what we call a 'weekly dashboard'.

This two page spread gives you a place to keep track of weekly tasks, important daily events, a 'to-do' list and a place for notes or scribbles. As well as space at the top for some stickers or an inspiring quote or word of the week.

On the right hand side is a box for each day of the week. Perfect for you if you need to keep track of events for the week but without a specific time slot. It also works great as a journal.

'Here a Little, There a Little' Planner

Great things can come in small packages. New this year is the "Little Planner" which does NOT include the weekly planning spreads which significantly cuts down on the size.

It still has the monthly calendars and the planning matrix, as well as all the other pages as the Mothers Who Know planner, excluding the weekly planning spreads.

The powerful and versatile matrix spread gives you daily planning for the whole month on a single two-page spread.

Thanks to this compact design this planner is only 282 pages, more than 100 page less than the traditional Mothers Who Know planner.

To further reduce the size and cost, this planner does NOT include the dividers. Instead a page of self-adhesive sticker tabs in included for free - so you can peel, fold and stick the tabs in the planner on whichever spread you turn to most.

The three planners mentioned above, 'Mothers Who Know' planner, 'Know It' planner and the 'Little' planner are all designed with content specifically for members of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints including:

  • Scripture reading charts
  • 'The Living Christ'
  • Ministering spread
  • Home Centered Learning (Family Home Evening/Come Follow Me curriculum)
  • Sunday pages to keep track of Priesthood/Relief Society, Sunday School and Primary lessons
  • The Family Proclamation

Our unique planner design is 'made for moms' so included are pages you won't find in any other planner such as:

  • Child tracking pages
  • Chores and cleaning
  • Holiday plans
  • Christmas section
  • Budget page
  • Debt management
  • Vacation planning
  • Relationship pages
  • Birthday and Anniversaries
  • Medical appointments and healthcare
  • Year at a glance
  • Pages for journaling

There are 3 more planners to choose from, which contain all of the same 'made for moms' content but with non-denominational religious content.

The Mom on the Go planner still comes in the traditional vertical weekly layout, with a Sunday Start:

The Simple Planner has been re-designed this year with a Monday start.

It contains all of the same content as the Mom on the Go planner, but with a new design for the weekly planning pages that includes hourly time slots

In other words, if you have a lot going on and need to plan our your appointments planned out by the hour, you found the planner for you. And it still includes all of the wonderful 'made for moms' content.

'Go and Do' Planner

Last and also least, is the NEW 'Go and Do' planner which contains just 224 pages, making it the thinnest planner we offer.

It does NOT have the weekly planning spreads, but does include a monthly calendar for each month, as well as the matrix spread for more detailed daily planning.

To further reduce the size and cost, this planner does NOT include the dividers. Instead a page of self-adhesive sticker tabs in included for free - so you can peel, fold and stick the tabs in the planner on whichever spread you turn to most.
