I don't know about the rest of you, but when I get home from church I feel like collapsing and not waking up for at least 2 hours. But, that usually doesn't happen for me. I find that I'm terribly grumpy unless I have an action plan. My kids need me to be a leader and teach them how to use time wisely, especially on Sunday's.
Now the Lord kind of feels strongly about keeping the Sabbath Day Holy. It really isn't too much to ask of us is it. One day in the week that we set aside to worship, relax, bond, pray, study, serve, learn, etc. Those things sound really nice but how much do they really happen? I for one need to be more deliberate in my Sabbath Day worship and activities.
Anywho, there is a lot of Thou Shalt Not's on the Sabbath Day, so I like the approach of the Sunday 'cans' to show just how much we Can do on Sunday's. So many ways to show our Heavenly Father that we are willing to dedicate one day to Him completely. He is happy when we are strengthening others and lifting our families and spending time on things of a better.
From start to finish it took about 1 hour. 1 hour investment for several hours worth of activities. Good trade.

We used these for a Relief Society activity focused on the Sabbath and everyone loved it! My only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that it would be nice if there was an option to get these with blank backgrounds so they don't require color printing. My counselor was able to white out the background and we printed onto patterned craft paper. Worked great and we've had lots of positive feedback. Thank you for creating and sharing these!

Loved it. I will say though that I was a little confused on how to get this to come in - But I figured out that you just have to act like you purchased something to get it. Thank you so much for making this free for all of us to use. My kids love it!

Where is the template for me to print it out? For some reason I can't find it.

Took about an hour while I helped the kids with their homework one afternoon. Printed on copy paper and Craft Glued them all to the can/craft sticks because that is what I had on hand. The kids love it and so do Mom and Dad!

This is a fun idea for parents and kids who need a little extra help and creativity for Sunday Activities

I like how I can teach the kids positive things to do on Sunday and help them to feel they are not being punished.

Thanks for your great idea. Made it up and presented it in Relief Society on Sunday while talking about keeping the Sabbath holy. Women asked if we could make them during our Souper Saturday craft day! In October.

I actually love these and have used them with my grand-kids when they are here at me home. I also printed my own using the blank template and use those for my CTR Sunday School class.

Our Activity Day girls loved making these. Hopefully it will help them know what to do after church.
Thanks so much for this idea.

We used this printout for an Activity Days activity. It would have taken me hours to print out these ideas and format it myself. This saved me time and a lot of grumbling at my computer. We are going to use this for an FHE activity too.

I used this for our Activity Days girls. They loved all the different ideas, as well as being able to put them all together. I underestimated how long it would take, but they still had fun. Got so many "thank you"s from moms!

My kids helped me to assemble our Sunday "Cans," and then spent the rest of the day pulling ideas out of the can and putting them into action. (I even got a nap!) Great idea and nice quality printable.

While I would have loved to have a few more pre-done science or art related activities (not sure if that's against LDS) but over all this is a great idea and nicely executed. It is (obviously) very church oriented activity wise many of which aren't applicable for my faith, Episcopalian. However it was easy to tailor with the given blank ones and would be a great spring board for any faith. I also did colored sticks to match the season in my church (special advent color, lent color, etc.). What a great, sweet, and (wonderfully free) family helper. I also love that it's a mom made business!

Even though I do not have family at home and a non-member husband. I find this project great. It is a Tool I can use for myself to,keep on track. It will help me do the right things on Sunday. Using this I can focus...and not get side tracked. Instead of a can, I am using a pint and a half canning jar. This way the sticks fit inside the jar and it has a lid. I also used my mini Xyron to adhere the task to the sticks.
Love this idea.

I love the cute backgrounds for the ideas just as much as I love the ideas. There are about 40 different suggestions to get you going. I'm so excited to make Sunday fun for my family with the help of this simple craft.

I downloaded the Sunday Cans and found it so easy to print, cut and adhere that I've used the blank download and created additional uses such as listing activities for my children to pull out during the week and a way to randomly pick groups in YW. Very cute and helpful.

Love this idea! My laurels want to do it for a young women activity and fill in their own blanks. Appreciate the label paper idea, which I was able to order in bulk online for about the same price as a small pack of labels in the stores.

This is a great idea for everyone who needs ideas for Sundays. Thank you

Most of these relate to me as a Christian but about 40% were LDS

My only complaint is that the ovals around the words on one of the sheets didn't print right - they were missing or not in the right place. Other than that the kids in my Primary Class loved them. I have several newly baptized kids and so the concept of special activities for Sunday was new to them. They loved it. Thanks!

I printed these for an activity day night about sunday worship. Not only are they well done graphically, but there are some really great ideas about what to do on Sundays that I've never thought of. And the girls loved them. Thanks for making them available.
