I am a stay at home mother of 4 beautiful children whose ages range from 2-6. I have always had a hard time with people assuming that if I stay home I do nothing. The thing is, most people don’t know who I really am. 

Yes, first and foremost, I am a stay at home mother. My kids mean everything to me. They are my world! Of course my husband comes in close second haha. With these responsibilities come household chores, cooking, and cleaning. Meal planning and shopping lists have become a central part of my weekly planning. Having kids is a responsibility of its own. Making sure they are safe, fed, clean, loved, and being taught. And now that some of them are getting a bit older we can add dance and sports to the list too. 

I also hold a calling with responsibilities in church. I get to work with young women who have become my friends. We plan activities, have meetings, and I am on call always. I volunteer at my daughters school weekly. No, I don’t get paid. I love being around children and also getting to know the teachers and students that interact with my daughter. I also love just being with her! 

As if all these responsibilities weren’t enough, I am a student. Yes, you heard me right. Every night after tucking my kids into bed I hunker down at the table with my load of textbooks and my computer. I study for at least 2 hours. Of course I can only do so much, and my course load is not as big as a young single student ;) but it’s enough. 

These are just a few of the things that most people don’t see. But I see them. I feel them. 

Using my planner has been wonderful for me to be able to stay on top of all my responsibilities. To be able to have a chance to breath. To feel organized. Yes, I love my planner haha!
