Even though we call this planner "Simple" don't think of it as 'basic'. It includes a lot of useful pages:

You will LOVE it!

For the past few years, I've purchased the "Mom on the Go" academic planner & loved, loved, loved it. But I will admit, I didn't use all of the pages. I really, really wanted to; I just didn't take the time. So when I saw the "Simple Academic Planner", I thought I'd give this one a try. AND. I. LOVE. IT! It still has all the things I love the most - the weekly spread so I can keep track of mine & my kids' weekly activities, the Holiday & Back to School Planning pages - which are a lifesaver. And there's so much more I love...how much space do they allow me to brag about it?! If you're looking for a phenomenal mom/family planner, but want just a little bit less than the Mom on the Go, you won't be sorry, pinkie promise. :)

I love, love, love this planner!! The way it is organized is just the way I needed. The colours are vibrant and pretty. The extra planning pages are perfect. I am a working woman with no kids- so the SIMPLE PLANNER was the best option for me.
I gave it 4 stars because:
- the paper is a little thin. I wish it were thicker so that the pens didn't bleed through to the other side. I tried 3 different types of pen and settled for the ones that bled the least.
- the quotes on the monthly dividers are Mormon based. I am a Christian, so I don't mind but others who are not and order the SIMPLE PLANNER may not appreciate it.

This planner is amazing. I love everything about it! I will continue to purchase my planners from this company! It has all the space you need for those odds things you wish you had space for in other planners. Great spaces for grocery lists, quotes, and event planning!

In the Leafy Tree Top Planners are the best planners to meet my needs. I am a working mom with a teenage son and so I find the academic planner perfect for me.
I love the spiritual quotes. I have used them in my Relief Society lessons from time to time. These are five star products!!! -

I ordered the Simple Planner this go around. After using the Mormon Mom Planner for a few years, I realized I was not utilizing every section of the planner, therefor, deciding to scale back on the size of planner this year. I do miss the scriptures throughout but at least it still has the quotes from General Authorities. I love the slimmed down version and it makes planning and organizing easier for me. I get overwhelmed easily by too much organizing a planner so this one makes it super simple. Love, love, love these planners. You can't go wrong with any of the styles! I will forever be a intheleafytreetops user. I have referred people to you guys and they too, can't say enough great things!

I was sent the wrong cover, which was disappointing, but it's too much of a hassle to return it and wait for the right one. )0: I like these planners and hoped that by ordering the "small and simple" planner, I would have a less bulky planner - but it's really not that much smaller or convenient to stick in my purse than the original planner (the one I used last year). I would love an option that just has the monthly calendar, the weekly calendar, and just a few extra pages. The "simple" planner still has too much fluff. They are all nice ideas, I just don't use those so much. I love the layout of the weekly calendars and use those the most. It has some lines below each day that I use for my daily menu. And I like the paper and look of the pages and the extra little places to write notes for the week. (Although, I really liked the colors/design of the 2015 pages better - they were more bright and fun. Maybe the "simple" one has different design on the pages?)

I wasn't expecting my planner to say Mormon mom planner on the back when I ordered the academic planner. I don't have anything against Mormons however I'm Pentecostal not Mormon and I didn't want that on my planner.
Other than that I love the planner. This is the second one I ordered. -

I just loved this planner. It is simple, it is easy to use. I do journaling with mine. The only thing I would change is probably the happy New Year section and put it before the month of January section, not into the January section. But that is not a problem. The year hasn't even begun and I already decided I will use this planner next year (2017)!

This planner has everything! It is perfect for my busy college student lifestyle. The monthly and weekly views are extremely helpful in planning out homework assignments. And I love all of the places on each page to jot down little notes. I highly recommend this planner to anyone who is looking to better organize their life!

This planner is full of possibilities. I have used many types of planners, hoping that one will stick, and for awhile I did find one. Very similar to this one actually, the New York Times one, but it is not as customizable or as decorative or creative as this one. I think I have found the one!! I definitely recommend it to anyone. Customer service is also prompt and they handle issues quickly.

This planner is amazing. I absolutely love it and have sold several of my friends on the product as well. It is uplifting to the soul and an ease on the mind, knowing everything can be beautiful and organized all at the same time.
I do have three suggestions for improvement however.
1. It needs a stronger cover. I carry mine with me every day and the cover corners are already cracked and bent over on themselves.
1. I would also love a few card holders to insert my debit card and ID. That way everything is all in one place.
3. lastly, an elastic to wrap around the entire book would make a big difference. I often carry loose papers and an elastic band would ensure nothing would fall out and also keep pages from bending while it is sloshing around in my purse. :)
Having said that. Still my favorite planner and I will buy it again and tell everyone who notices it how perfect it is! Keep up the good work! -

I love the planner! Wish there was more space to write, but still love it! Cute and everything I need. Just would like the cover and back to be hard instead of laminated. The corners get smashed when I put it in my purse.
Also would love to have a elastic band to keep my planner closed, but didn't find in the store! -

I have one of these for my house & last year I was toting it back & forth between work & on occasion I would forget it at work or forget to bring it to work. So this year I decided to by the simple academic planner for work. It is just as beautiful & functional as the Mormon Mom Planner! These planners are the best! I will never be without one!

I was so excited to receive my planner after years of failed attempts at keeping our life organized electronically. Now everything is in one place and I feel less stressed out as I'm not trying to remember everything and in turn I'm sleeping so much better.

This planner is great! I'll start by saying I am 32, Married, My husband has a 10 year old that we have 3 weekends each month and I work full time.
I'll start with what I love first. I love the design & colors. I love that there are SO MANY places to make notes or lists. Very nice paper quality. I love the tabbed months. I love the pocket & pen pouch. I only have a few 'cons' but they are literally just my personal preference. First I almost wish the pen pouch was detachable because when I am filling in my days schedules I either have to deal with it bumping up my whole planner or I have to remove all the pens which is a pain. But perhaps I have too much in it or maybe I should just empty it :). Also, I initially had trouble with the pages that split the day up into 3 parts. As currently we only have my husbands daughter 3 weekends a month and therefore our days aren't overly loaded. I chose to split mine up into 'Work', 'Drive' and 'Home.' So I can note errands for during the day and then chores for home. I have yet to use the page lists out the month out by week even though when looking this planner over prior to purchase I thought that would be the one I would use most :) I personally don't use any of the budget stuff, while I think it is great and I would have maybe a few years ago I needed to switch to excel so that I could tweak numbers and see how it would change my overall budget.
Overall I think the planner is great and it really holds me accountable. If I write it I do it .. Or at least that is the plan .. and so far it is working. But it does keep me from filling out some other parts, like the cleaning schedule... I am just not ready to commit any specific days yet :) But I will get there once we get this flowing.
In the end, I will purchase again next year because I'd rather have more than I need than have to 'make' something work that is lacking. -

I love your planner. I was using A Well-Planned Day Planner's On the Go planner and really liked it. Came across a review of your planner last year and wasn't able to order due to being out of stock. Anyways, received it and have been very impressed! Love all the room to keep a household of 8 together. I especially like the fact that you can customize the weekly pages to fit whatever stage you are in life. I wiill be using it exclusively starting next year so my personal, homeschooling, menu-planning, etc will all be in ONE place! Thank you so much for a great planner. And your accessories (planner bookmark and stickers) were just icing on the cake! I do have one request, though. When I received the stickers, somehow during the mailing process, several of the stickers were actually stuck on various parts of the mailings -- like on the planner or other parts of the sticker sheet. I was able to get most of them off and use them. Maybe in the future, fold the sticker sheet so that the stickers on the outside edges don't come off? Just a thought! Thanks again for a wonderful product!
